Longer (multi-day, semester, and subscription) courses offer them the ability to develop relationships with their teacher and peers while studying content that builds on previous learning such as longer-range essays, projects, and assignments with teacher feedback.

The course includes video lessons, interactive activities, assignments, and quizzes, which have no due date. As this is a self-paced course, there are no live classes. The benefits of self-paced courses are that they are less expensive and very flexible, while still having interaction with a teacher.

Students have access to a classroom and may go through the curriculum at their own pace. As this is a curriculum, there are no live classes and no interaction with a teacher. The benefits of the online curriculum are that it’s a less expensive way to still go through an excellent curriculum with videos, interactive material, and quizzes. For younger students, parents are able to direct them through the learning; for older students, they can often navigate the curriculum on their own.
